About
Jeremy Walton works with product design and the development and use of artifacts across various design fields, for commercial, experimental, responsible and discursive design interests.
As an Associate Lecturer, at Copenhagen’s School of Design and Technology, he has specialised in the use of prototyping throughout the design process, gaining understanding and empathy into people’s needs. Contributing a designerly approach to research enquiries, critically exploring new business models, experimenting with production techniques and new materials. And along with the use of prototypes to critically question and anchor debate.
He mixes digital crafts with hand crafts as well as exploring hobby and folkart, to bring people closer to manufacturing. And to question the meaning and value of making in society.
